XIST Games

Description:

XIST was asked to create a pair of interactive games featuring prime ministers for the National Library of Canada to compliment their First Among Equals site (designed and produced by XIST).

One is a "Concentration" type memorization game, in Flash Shockwave format, which also appears in alternate versions (featuring different prime ministers) randomly accessed when visiting the First Among Equals site (Online Version) and a complete matching set for children with a brighter interface for the "kids' version" of the NLC site. (Kids' Version).

The other is a multiple choice trivia game based on the lives of each of the prime ministers, which is also available through the NLC site as both an All Ages Version or Kids' Version.

All these games are also available in French online.

	Splash pages
	Description:	Flash lends itself to the creation of animated pieces to enhance an otherwise static page like splash pages or flat homepages. These decorative pieces could be linked into content and provide an alternative navigation for a site, perhaps promoting particular services or shortcuts to featured pages.
